Promarkers Challenge #500 using Rory - Tis the Season

For this Promarkers #500 challenge, I used Rory - Tis the Season. This image is from Colour of Love. Isn't she just simply adorable? If you like to color with alcohol markers then you should join in with the I Love Promarkers Challenge Blog.  We were challenged to use a flower. I wanted to make a Christmas card with Rory. I think she came out ever so sweet.

Promarkers #449 using Dashing through the Snow by Ike's Art Digi

This is challenge #449. We were challenged to make a Christmas image. I decided to make something just a bit different. I love this serene scene. I can imagine it is Christmas morning, and the deer are out and about enjoying the peace and quiet of Christmas Day.

Snow - Tea Green and Pastel Blue using the lightest touch

I used a Windsor & Newton white ink to highlight a a bit of snow on the bushes and the trees.

Promarkers Challenge #448 Crackers by SheepSki Designs

 

For this challenge, I selected Crackers - image no. 253 by SheepSki Designs. As you know, I adore SheepSki Designs, this is one of my very favorite companies. I think Andrea is an extremely talented artist.

My mother is from England, but immigrated to the US, where we all live today. We love to have crackers at Christmas. It is always a thrill when they pop! I hope you are getting excited about Christmas too. Our three year old is really getting excited.

Promarkers Challenge #446 using Christmouse Wishes

For Promarkers Challenge #446, I used Hetty Clare's Christmouse Wishes. Isn't this an adorable image? There are so many cute digi images to choose from on the Hetty Clare site. 

You can find this challenge on the Promarkers Challenge Blog. This week's challenge is using a die cut or punch. I used a torn paper die to cut out the mouse and owl. I also used 2 die cuts as embellishments. This is a 6x6 card, using a gold foil mat. 

Colors:

Hat: Poppy, Red, and Ruby Red

Scarf: Denim Blue, Turquoise, Artic Blue, Green, Mint Green, and a bit more Turquoise. I alternated blue and green stirps. 

Fur: Warm Grey 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 5. I used a touch of Misty Rose on the lips, cheeks, and inner ear of the mouse.

Jacket: Vanilla and Hazelnut

Shoes: Mint Green and Turquoise

Owl: Hazelnut, Coffee, and Caramel

Promarkers Challenge #440 Sheepski Designs Stack

I love Christmas in July, don’t you? For this challenge I use Stack-image no 222 by SheepSki Designs. I just adore the artist Andrea Norris. I was a DT on her team. I loved all of her artwork. These are digital images, which are really nice to work with as you can size them to suit your needs.

Promarkers Challenge #436 Dr. Digi's Keep Off the Grass

I used this fun digi Keep of the Grass from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. She is just so cute. Look at her feeling embarrased that her pet won't budge.

I created a 6x6 card for this challenge. The paper is from my stash.  The theme this challenge is outside. What could be more outside than walking a beloved pet.

Promarkers Challenge 435 Toy Car Owen by Paper Nest Dolls

 

For this challenge, I used the rubber stamp Toy Car Owen by Paper Nest Dolls. I love Paper Nest Dolls rubber stamps. I have at least twelve of the stamps, but I also love the digi images and have more than I can count. I joke, but I probably have twenty or more. This is a digi stamp named Justin with Car. They are both the same image. Digi stamps are extra nice because you can make them any size that you need. 

 I created a 5X7 card. I used paper from Echo Park and a sentiment from Unity Stamps. I thought that this was the perfect sentiment for this car, "It is the little things", which is so true. It is the little things in life that really make us happy. For Owen, it is his little green car.  The theme this challenge is using a sentiment.

Promarkers Challenge #433 KT Frock

This fun card is for the  Promarkers Challenge #433 I selected KT Frock by Ike’s Art. I love the quirky and unusual images at Ike’s Art. This was a fun challenge. I printed the image on pink polka dot paper and fussy cut out the dress. After I colored the image, I added the little frock.  

The theme this challenge is paper piecing. I decided to create a 5x7 card . This challenge starts April 14, 2021. I love these challenges. I hope you do too. This is challenge #433.

Promarkers Challenge #432 Frame It Balloon Girl

 

I created this card for the  Promarkers Challenge #432 I selected Frame It Balloon Girl by Bugaboo Stamps. I just love the whimsical and fun look of Bugaboo Stamps. Truly, they are one of my very favorite stamp companies.

The theme this challenge is ribbons or twine. I decided to create a 6x6 birthday card using ribbons. My mother’s birthday is this month, so I made it with her in mind. This challenge starts March 31, 2021. I love these challenges. I hope you do too. 

I used the following Promarkers:

1. Hair – Cocoa, Henna, and Walnut

2.  Skin – Blush, Almond, and Dusty Pink with a touch of Cocktail Pink for her cheeks.

3.  Dress and Bow - Royal Blue, True Blue, Artic Blue, Turquoise, Marine, and Blue

5.  Shoes - Warm Gray 0, 1, and 2

6.  Balloons – Butter Cup, Lemon, and Yellow; Royal Blue, True Blue and Powder Blue; and Turquoise, Cool Aqua, and Artic Blue

I went around the frame with Lavender and used a light touch of Powder Blue for the background.

Promarkers Challenge 431 Superman a Dearie Doll image

 

For the Promarkers Challenge #431 I used a Dearie Dolls  image called Superman. These are the cutest images and posted on the Free Dearie Dolls Digi Blog. The artist was very active at one time and has graciously left her website up for people to download the images. There are lots of wonderful blog posts about the images on her site. 

The theme this challenge is adding a number. I created this card for my son's 13th birthday, which is in September. He is my superhero.

I love to make cards for my children. I think that it makes them feel extra special.

This is a 5 x 7 card. I was in England three years ago and found this lovely paper. I filled my suitcase with lots of great papers and craft supplies that we can't find in the US.  I gave the customs a good chuckle.

She is a very talented and generous individual. 

Promarkers Challenge #430 The Haunted Music Box Dancer

For this card I used The Haunted Music Box Dancer she is by Heather Valentin. You can find her online at Colour Of Love. I selected her for Promarkers Challenge #430. This week's challenge is beautiful papers. I think that she is just so lovely and se deserves a lovely background too.

 

I am partial to music boxes. I still have the music box my dad gave to me as a child. I imagine many of us love music boxes too.
