Sending Happy Thoughts this Easter with Chibis Easter Cubcake

I created an cute tag for my husband's Easter Basket using Chibis Easter Cupcake by Stampers Delights. The tag is 6 inches tall and 4 inches wide. I created the tag on with my Brother Scan N Cut. The Chibi stamps with Stampers Delight is adorable.

Stampers Delights has a Facebook page and a monthly challenge. The monthly challenge is so much fun to participate in. There are so many creative people who participate in the challenge. I love looking at all the cards.

I used a variety of markers for this stamp:

Carrot - (Illustrators) CR10, OR2, and B02
Leaves - (Copics) YG67 and YG0
Hair - (Copics) E77, E74, E70 and E18
Skin - (Copics) E11, E000, E01 and R30
Eyes - (Copics) B16 and B12
Socks and Outfit - (Copics) RV14, RV13, RV11, RV02, RV04, RV93, and RV10
Bunny Ears - (Copics) W0, W2, R30, and RV11
Cup Cake - (Illustrators) LV1 and LV2 with (Copics) E41 and a touch of Sparkle clear pens

I love both the Copics and the Illustrators. I think the jewel toned colors with the Illustrators are simply beautiful. Don't be afraid to use the alcohol markers that you have. They blend delightfully well together.

Christmas Eve a SheepSki Designs stamp

Water colors (L) and Copics (R)

I created 2 cards with Christmas Eve by SheepSki designs. I wanted to compare coloring with Copics to painting with water colors. Both cards came out beautifully. I used similar colors and paper for both cards. As you can see the card on the left, which I used water colors on has more depth. While the card on the right as more sheen in the highlights. Both cards I think are lovely. SheepSki has just beautiful artwork and stamps are all gorgeous. I created a 6 x 6 card for each.

Copics used:

Hair - E79, E74, and E71
Jacket - YG03 and G99 for the stripe and W4 and W2 for the rest of the jacket
Jeans and color - B16 and B14
Puppy - E11 and E21

I used distress inks to create the back ground and to make the moon appear to glow.

As you can see the there is a nice shadow and highlight on the jacket. To create dimension in the hair, I start with my lightest color E71 and then layer the colors. I use v strokes with the darkest color E79 to make the hair appear choppy. With the puppy I use similar affect as the hair. The key is to
to take your time when you are coloring.

I love how the water colors give the hair and the fur dimension. When I water color I feel so relaxed. The paint just flows. Either medium works well with the stamp. I used my Tom Bow water color markers on this card.

Tombows Used:
For the jacket W45, N95 and 076
Hair  and fur - 879 and 969
Pants and Color 493, 569, and 515

I wanted to be daring a create a pink monochromatic look. I just love how her hair came out and all the pretty pinks work so well together. I do not have a full set of Copics, so I just got all of my pinks and started coloring. Such fun! This stamp is Birthday Girl by Hannah Lynn Art & Design.

Hair and shoes - RV09, RV04, and RV02
Skin - E11, E01, E0000, and for the blush R20 and R30

I used pearl blue and a blender pen to create the light blue halo around the image. I also used a clear sparkle pen in the lacey bits of her dress.

Crafting Emma, a Paper Nest Doll stamp

This is Crafting Emma by Paper Nest Dolls, and she is simply adorable! I just love to craft and I love Paper Nest Dolls too. The stamps are all so very cute and fun to color.

I created a 6x6 card for Emma today. I cut a 5.5 x 5.5 paper with a 5 5/8 x 5 5/8 mat. I also cut a 3x5 piece of paper with a 3 1/4 x 5 1/4 mat. I typed a sentiment that  says, "Crafting now and housework later". How perfect is that sentiment for all of us crafters? I printed my stamp at 3.5 inches.

I used the following Copics:

  • Face - E11, E01, E000, E00, and a touch of E11. I used R30 and R00 for the blush.
  • Hair - E79, E74, and E71
  • Skirt and bow-RV14,  RV13, and RV11
  • Blouse and Shoes -BG13, BG11, and G000

I colored her live on my Facebook page Creative Paper Crafting with Jacquie. I do lives 2 times a week; Thursday at 7:00 PM EST and Sunday at 3:00 PM EST.  I would love for you to join me on my Facebook page.

Night Shade Fairy - A MyBesties Stamp

For my most recent card, I chose Night Shade by MyBesties. Isn't she just the prettiest fairy ever?  Sherri Baldy is just amazing. She draws hundreds of images each year, and they are all so pretty. This stamp reminds me of spring, and just how much I love seeing the flowers blooming.

This is a 6x6 card. I used paper from Graphic 45. You can buy similar paper at Scrapbook.com. I selected this paper as it had beautiful purples and yellows to go with my beautiful image.

I cut a 5.5 x 5.5 paper with a 5 5/8 x 5 5/8 mat. I also cut a 3x5 piece of paper with a 3 1/4 x 5 1/4 mat. I typed a sentiment that simply says, "Thinking of You". You can easily create your own sentiments. I printed my stamp at 3.5 inches.

I used the following Copics:

  • Face - E01, E000, E00, and a touch of E11. I used R30 and R00 for the blush. I generally like MyBesties to have rosy cheeks, but i thought a fairy should be a bit more natural.
  • Hair - E79, E74, and E71
  • Dress - V01, V06, and V09,
  • Flowers and leaves - YG03, G000, Y06, Y08 BV13, BV17 and BV02
  • Boots - W3, W2, W0, and W00

I colored her live on my Facebook page Creative Paper Crafting with Jacquie. I do lives 2 times a week; Thursday at 7:00 PM EST and Sunday at 3:00 PM EST.  I would love for you to join me on my Facebook page.

Coffee Break by SheepSki Designs

I love coffee, creating cards, and all the people who follow my lives. I made this card for everyone who follows along. The stamp is Coffee Break by SheepSki Designs.

This is a 5x7 card. I used a combination of copics and spectrum noirs to color the stamp. The marker paper is from Sweet Sentiments and is the best paper I have ever used.

I used the following Copic markers:

I Love Promarkers Challenge - the theme is love or marriage!

I love promarkers challenge blog is such fun! I am a guest designer this month. I am so excited and honored to be invited to join in as a guest DT. The theme is love, wedding or anniversary and starts February 5, 2020.

I selected Elephant Love from Bugaboo Stamps for this challenge. Promarkers are wonderful alcohol markers to use. I selected a variety of grays for the two elephants. I thought that a touch of pink was called for for the little girl. She has an adorable bow in her hair and painted toe nails two.

I just love Valentine Day and this card would be perfect to give to someone special or to use as a just because card. Bugaboo Stamps have such a fun selection of stamps.

I created a 6.5 x 6.5 card using the following colors:

Girl Elephant: warm gray 1, 2 and 3
Boy Elephant: Caramel and Ivory
Bow: Hot Pink and Lipstick Red

MyBesties International Doll #4 - She is super adorable!

I created a 6x6 card for this stamp. I wanted the focus to be on her as she is just so exceptionally cute. This a MyBesties stamp, International Doll#4.  I think she reminds me of summer, fun, and being carefree. A nice change from the dreary winter months.

For this card I created a 6x6 card. I used a second layer at 5x5, and used my Sizzix Oval Framelits  to cut her out. I wanted her to be front and center. I used a discontinued paper pack by K&C Company. I have linked to a similar paper pack on Amazon. I also used Sweet Sentiment marker paper to color my image on. It is the best marker paper ever!

I am providing you the links so that you can find similar products. Sometimes, people think because we are a DT that we receive products for free. Myself, I have never received any products for free, except for the stamp that I use to create the card. I simply love to make cards and being a DT allows me to create cards for all the artist that I love.

I decided to color her with my Spectrum Noirs:

Face - TN2, TN3, TN4, FS4, CR3, and CR2
Hair - EB7, EB4, AND EB2 with a touch of E8
Flower - GB4, GB3, and DG3
Purse -GB1, GB3, GB5, GB8, and LG3
Shorts - TB1, TB2, and TB3
Blouse - GT1, GT2, and GT3,
Flip flops - FS6, FS7, and FS8
