Basket of Flowers from Hetty Clare for challnge #527 with Promarkers

For challenge #527 with Promarkers, I selected Basket of Flowers from Hetty Clare. The theme this challenge is pastel colors, but as always, anything goes. I just love all things Hetty Clare, the images are all adorable. I created a 5x7 card for this challenge and used The Best of Britan paper from Crafter's Companion. 

I used the following colors:

Skin - Bisque and Wheat

Hair - Bisque, Buttercup, andSunflower

Dress - Cerise, Pink Carnation, Cool Aqua, Pastel Green, and Turqoise

Shoes - Cerise and  Pink Carnation

Curvy Katrina from Sheepski Designs for the Promarkers Challenge #526

 

Happy New Year! I am so excited to share my first Promarkers DT card with you for Challenge #526. I selected Curvy Katrina from Sheepski Designs on Etsy. The theme this challenge is your favorite color, but anything goes. I equally live pink and purple, so as you can see I used both. 

I created a 5x7 card for this challenge, using The Best of Britan paper from Crafters Companion. I just love this paper pad. The colors were perfect to go along with the colors I used for Katrina. 

Colors:

1. Hair - Light Pecan, Bisque, and Pale Cream
2. Skin - Pale Cream and Wheat
3. Dress - Antique Pnk, Mulberry, Cerise, and Orchid

Challenge 1 - Jan. 01, 2023 My Besties uising Sweetheart Bestie Doll#10

For the first challenge of 2023, I used Sweetheart Bestie Doll#10. Idn't she just perfect for Valrntines or any special occasion? You can enter the MyBesties International Challenge blog the first and fiftteenth of each month. 

I colored the image with the follwoing Copics:

1. Hair - RV06, RV04, and RV02
2. Skin E001, E002 and a touch of R011
3. Shirt -V09, V06, and V04
4. Slacks - BG06, BG05, and BG01
5. Shoes - V09, V06, V04, BG06, BG05, and BG01

Happy New Year!

I hope the new year brings you plenty of happiness, love, time, and heatlth. I am always excited for what the new year brings. 

This year, I have enjoyed coloring with my pencils again. I had put them away and had not colored in years. Above are a few of my favorite pages that I colored in 2022. I am glas that I have renewed my love of pencils.

I started a new adventure with The Crafty Witches and am enjoying creating cards from their digital kits. Digital kits are really a great way to be creative and to enjoy crafting.

I recently joined the design team for Opulence by Design Crafts, which also has beautful dgitial card kits and papers. 

Of course my first love is alcohol markers and I contine to enjoy coloring and creating cards with Copics, Promarkers, and Spectrum Noirs. 

For me, crafting and Art allow me to express myself and to connect with friends from all over the world. Life can be so busy, but creating cards, coloring, and enjoying craft alongs seems to make life slow down and more enjoyable.
