Coffee Beanz!

I am so excited to enter my card in the Spring Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop . I created a card using Beanz. You can find this image at the Lady Beans Digi Stamps Etsy Store.

I just love coffee and I love this image too. I used a combination if Spectrum Noirs and Copics to color this adorable stamp.

The two look like they are up to mischief. What do you think?

Copics:
E71 and E74 for the coffee
B12, B02, and B00 for the cup

Spectrum Noirs:
GB8, GB7, and GB6 for the Beanz

I really hope you like my card, which I think is just perfect for the Coffee Lovers Spring Summer Blog Hop!

Love is in the air!

I used the Bride GnomeMarine Gnome, and Blooms of Love stamps to create this adorable scene. I used Word to import the digi stamps and place them side-by-side. Creating a scene is a great way to use your stamps. This is a 6x6 card.

When I saw the marine gnome in his dress uniform, I just couldn't wait to use him. I remember how handsome my dad looked in his dress blues. All three images work so well together. What could be better than an ourdoor wedding?

I used the following Spectrum Noir markers to color this scene:
Hat and uniform - TB1, TB2, TB3, TB4, and a touch of TB7. For the ribbon I used GY3 and GT4
Shoes BG2, BG3, and BG4
Dress and Veil - CR2, CR3, CR, 4, CR5, CR6 and a touch of PP5
Flowers - LG2, LG3 and PP5
Grass - LG2, LG3, DG2, and DG3
Tree - F2, EB3, and EB4 for the bark. For the leaves LG2, LG3, and DG2. I used CR2, CR3, and DR3 for the hearts.
Sky - TB1 and TB2
Grass - DG2, DG3, and LG3

I wanted to create a sky backdrop and a hill behind the tree, with darker grass under their feet. I am practicing with creating backgrounds. I have lots to learn! I think it is always good to try to challenge ourselves.

Sewing Gnome a KLM Digital Design

Sewing Gnome

Hello, Jacqueline here with KLM Digital Design. I decided to create a shaker card for this adorable gnome. She is Sewing Gnome by KLM Digital Design.

I created a 5x7 card. I used a set of Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations dies to create the center of the card for the shaker. The paper and sequins are from my stash.

I just love a fun shaker card. The sentiment "Just Because" is from KLM Digital Design and the sentiimet "I'm SEW fond of you!" was suggested by my friend Sharon. I created a bobbin with thread as an accent, along with the buttons.

I used the following Spectrum Noir markers:

Hair - FS6, TN4, GB3, and GB5. I wanted the hair to have a reddish tint
Face FS6, FS7, FS8,  and for the blush CR3
Hat - LG1, LG2, and L3
Button and Belt- TN1
Dress - GB1, GB3, GB5, and GB7. I like to use the darkest color on the pleats. I find using a shade of 4 or 5 makers helps to define the pleats
Shoes - BG2, BG3, and BG4
Scissors - IG2 and IG3
Fabric - PL2, PL3, CR2, CR3DG1, DG3, IB2, and IB3

My Facebook page is Creative Paper Crafting with Jacquie. I do lives on Thursday at 7:00 PM EST and  Sundays at 3:00 PM EST. I would love for you to join me on my Facebook page.
