Avery with Locket from Paper Nest Dolls

Avery with Heart Locket

This is such a sweet image. I created two cards for two special friineds with this stamp from Paper Nest Dolls. This is Avery with Heart Locket and she is absoulutely adorable!

I just love to color and to share my cards with other crafters.  I think that there are so many talented people out there, and I love to see what everyone creates. I hope that you will share your creations on my Facebook page.

I used the following Spectrum Noir markers:

  • Puppie - TN1, FS1, CR3, and True Black for the nose
  • Hair - LY1, GB1, GB3, and GB5
  • Skin - FS6, FS7, FS8, and CR3 for the cheeks with a touch of F1
  • Boots, ribbons, and hair ties - DR1, DR2, DR3, DR4, and DR5
  • Dress and socks- CR1, CR2, and CR3. I used glitter gloss over the ruffels on the dress
  • Locket and key - IG1, IG2, IG3,  and BGR1

I created a 6x6 card with a 3.5 x 3.5 layer. The paper is from my stash and is called Verity. I think the red in the paper matches the red in the boots just perfectly!

Cotton Candy Avery

For this image, I selected Cotton Candy Avery from Paper Nest Dolls. She is just so adorable. There is also a digi image too. I printed this image out at 3.5 inches. I love using digi images myself.

I am reminded of 4-H and the county fairs when I see Avery holding her cotton candy. I love spring and summer and can hardly wait for the warm weather!

I used the following Spectrum Noir markers:

Pants and jacket - AB1, AB2, and AB3
Blouse and shoes - LY1, LY2, and LY3
Ribbon - LY1, LY2, and LY3. I used AB3 to create the dots and stripes.
Skin - FS6, FS7, AND FS8. I used CR3 for the blush.
Hair - TN6, GB10, GB5, and GB7
Cotton Candy - CR1, CR4, and CR6
Cone TN1 and TN3
Background - Blender Pen and IBI

The paper is "Hello Spring" from Echo Park Papers.I just adore Echo Park Paper and their stickers, along with their sentiments are just so adorable. I think that they are the perfect compliment to this stamp.

Every girl is a princess when she wears her favorite pair of strappy sandals

I love shoes! What girl doesn't ? This stamp makes me feel so happy. I love being able to throw on a pair of jeans or a pair of high heels. Life is better when we can be happy.

I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color this delightful image.

Happy Easter to You!

This is Jacqueline and I am excited to share my Easter project with you. This is my DT project for the Lady Beans. I used the egg stamp created by talented Annie Collins. This was such a fun card to create. This stamp would be ideal to use to create a tag or put on a gift bag. I can think of many projects that you could use this stamp on.

You can purchase this image from The Multi Crafters Cafe. cafe.  This image, along with many other are included in the album "The Coffee Bean Stamp Machine.

This time of year, we are reminded how wonderful life is and that summer will soon be here. I think that this adorable image is a great reminder that life is indeed good!

I created a 6x6 card. I used paper from my stash. I wanted to highlight the beautiful eggs, so I used a robin blue paper behind the two eggs. I propped one egg up. I did use an organza ribbon and two sweet sentiments.

I colored this image with my hodge podge of Spectrum Noir markers:

Background of the eggs - OR1
Leaves - AG1 and AG2
Sunflower - CT1, CT 3, and GB5
Small flowers - PV2
Rabbit - BG2, BG3, BG4, AND IG6 with a touch of CR3 in the ears

To add dimension of put more than one layer of OR1 around the edge of the egg and outline the flower and the rabbit. Shading adds dimension - so don't be afraid to shade and highlight!

Until next time, take care and Happy Easter to you!

Honor Our Heroes!

Please remember to honor all the medical personnel who are on the front lines taking care of all of us. These stamps "Heroes" are created by Stampers Delights honoring and supporting the doctors, nurses, and all medical people that are truly heroes.

Coloring is such a great way to let go of our worries. I hope that you are taking some time each week to color or to do something creative. I created this card as DT inspiration for Stampers Delights Freebie Progressive Challenge and for A Bit More Time to Craft Challenge.

Please join the April  Freebie Progressive Challenge over at the Stampers Delights Fan Group page. The challenge is very fun. I used to participate  monthly before I became a DT for Stampers Delights. I enjoyed seeing all the great creations.

For this card I created a 6x6 card. I used Hearts Again paper by Lozzie. I wanted to keep the focus of this card on the two images, so I kept the card a bit simpler. I can't say enough about how proud and thankful I am of all the people who are on the front line fighting this virus. I colored these images with my hodgepodge of Spectrum Noir markers.
